I’ve been reading a lot lately about creating learning experiences around stories. I’m also reading a lot about keeping learning experiences short. I’m intrigued with both points of view and am hungry for more information about how they can be put to use together by us instructional designers.
I can envision a corporate catalog comprised of hundreds of e-learning experiences, each digestible in ten minutes or less, and each revolving around the telling of a single story. Is anyone out there taking this approach? How is it working out?
I’ll be very grateful for insights and references to research on these matters. Thanks!
